Bio

Zafty is an 18-year-old Nigerian-born, Melbourne-based rapper with a style compared to J. Cole and Redveil. A Triple J Unearthed High finalist and "Most Underrated Flow" award winner, he's had consistent Triple J support since 2023, including a rotation add for "M.I.A." and a Wildlands Festival slot via Unearthed. His 2025 debut EP, OMO BURUKU, made Triple J's wrap of the year's best Australian EPs. That year he also supported Allday on his regional tour, played BIGSOUND, and was named a Red Room Poetry Youth Ambassador. His sophomore EP, ORUN, followed in August 2026, led by single "Sunshine." He's also a 2026 APRA AMCOS Professional Development Award recipient (Hip Hop/Rap).
