A World Fusion like no other. Film Composer Tommy Castles, alongside the enigmatic violinist Carl Dickens create a kind of music that absolutely needs to be witnessed live. With distinguished musical careers in their own rights, Tommy & Carl have together headlined tours and festivals across Australia including Woodford Folk Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival & The Port Fairy Jazz Festival. Their music, fiercely upbeat and full of emotion, leaves their audience entranced, and with a desire to walk across the Sahara, or perhaps swim across the Mediterranean Sea (undertaken at listeners own risk) Now, their debut album ‘Snakeskin’ is out in the world. Featuring soloists from Iran, Spain and their homeland of Australia, this is a remarkable record spanning influences from all corners of the globe. Their music is for all. For the dancers, the discerning music nerds, the jazz cats, the travelling gypsies and absolutely everyone in-between. Tommy & Carl look forward to welcoming all into their mystical, musical realm.
