SUNEDEN have long been known for their trademark soul-funk boogies, a sound that ignites dance floors and captivates audiences across Australia. Based on Victoria’s Surf Coast, this six-piece outfit burst onto the scene with their acclaimed debut album Smooth Groove, and are now evolving in bold new directions with their upcoming sophomore album. Finalists in the Bluesfest Busking Competition, Suneden performed at the iconic Byron Bay Bluesfest, followed by standout appearances at Queenscliff Music Festival and Party In The Paddock. Backed by widespread Triple J airplay, the band have cemented their reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting independent acts. Their latest original release, God Is Dead, is a glitter-soaked disco anthem: high-energy, irresistibly dancefloor-ready and bursting with Suneden’s signature groove. Most recently, the band released their reimagining of Bag Raiders’ Shooting Star, transforming the iconic Australian track into a shimmering, disco-driven Suneden anthem. With a deep love of soul, funk, disco and groove, Suneden bring a vibrant, genre-bending energy to the stage, combining musicianship, infectious rhythms and a magnetic live presence.
