Bio

Isobel Knight’s songwriting has connected with story-tellers and heart-on-sleeve-wearers across the world, and her live presence (a folky rocky “vocal masterclass” according to The Music) is as electric in solo or duo mode as it is with the string section and rollicking folk rock energy of her full band. Isobel has spent 2026 releasing and celebrating “Off The Floor”, an EP she made through Kasey Chambers and Dingo’s Rabbit Hole Studios about getting back to your feet after a deep time of trouble, both spiritually and physically. The EP charted across several US college radio sectors and took her on a sold out run of shows across the UK, as well as shows in cathedrals, cowboy bars and big stages across Australia. A national tour as the sole support for Irish rockers Kodaline saw her charm full houses at the Enmore Theatre, The Forum, Fortitude Music Hall and Riverside Theatre, and her performances at Woodford Folk Festival, Cresfest and a run of other festivals have seen her connect to regional Australian audiences with a local's ease. She has opened for Aussie songwriter acts like Rowena Wise, Lucy Sugerman, Lisa Mitchell and Grace Cummings, and with a new single on the way at the end of 2026 (the first from her new album “Lightning Strike”, due for release in 2027), Isobel Knight is kicking off a new era of her project with a shower of sparks.
